Everyone is encouarged, all levels, beginning to advanced, this is a day to celebrate our kids. This spring-season in-gym competition is open to all students in boys and girls gymnastics classes, trampoline and tumbling classes, and ninja classes. Your child will have the opportunity to perform their routines in front of a judge and receive a score based on their performance.
The competition is followed by an award ceremony where every child will receive a goodie bag, as well as medals and ribbons for their achievements. On January 20th, 2023, the Whitlow Gymnastics Invitational was held at the ESPN Zone @ Disney and five young gymnasts, David Godfrey, Noel Foltz, Neil Canabal, Owen Canabal, and Jozaiya Padilla, made an impressive showing.
The boys competed in several events and had great performances throughout the weekend. Neil Canabal stood out, placing 5th all-around in his division. His strong performance was a result of his dedication and hard work in training. Their coaches, Brian Shrewsbury and Drake Shrewsbury, were very proud of the boys for their achievements. The coaches noted that the boys had put in a lot of effort in the lead up to the competition and it paid off in their performances. The boys' achievements are a testament to their skill and determination. They have set a great example for other gymnasts and have shown that with hard work and dedication, anyone can succeed in the sport. The Whitlow Gymnastics Invitational was a great success for these young gymnasts and they are sure to continue to make a splash in the gymnastics world. MGA Gymnastics Boys Competitive Team shines at Swamp Invitational The MGA Gymnastics Boys Competitive team had a successful start to their season at the Swamp Invitational in Alachua, Florida over the weekend. The team showcased their hard work and dedication in the sport, impressing judges and spectators alike. Under the guidance of coaches Brian and Drake, the team put on a strong performance in all of the events, including floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar. The team’s hard work paid off as they earned high scores and many individual medals. "We are so proud of these young men and their performance," said Coach Drake. "They have been working tirelessly in the gym, and it was great to see them put all of their skills on display at the meet." The team's performance at the Swamp Invitational serves as a great stepping stone for the rest of their competitive season.
