Report: The Importance of Balancing Screen Time with Real Life Activities for Children
As technology continues to advance at an unprecedented rate, children's exposure to screens is increasing, leading to concerns about the impact of excessive screen time on children's health and well-being. By contrast, excessive screen time can limit children's opportunities for creative play, as they become more passive consumers of digital content rather than active creators.
Therefore, parents can help their children by setting clear limits on screen time, encouraging a variety of real-life activities, and modeling healthy behaviors around technology use. This can include scheduling regular family outings, encouraging outdoor play, and limiting the use of screens during mealtimes and before bedtime. By prioritizing a balance of screen time with real-life activities, parents can support their children's development and promote a healthy and happy childhood.
